Be Happy Where You Are

frametasticThe photos seen above are from 1981 and 1983 – I felt nostalgic after seeing the Royal Baby on Television this morning.  You see – I too had a baby boy the same year as HRH Prince William. My blog tonight is titled “Be Happy Where You Are”…with the emphasis on life keeps moving forward.  Your life will always be filled with challenges and we will always want to be better.  Wanting for a better a car, a promotion at work, a new house or our puppy to stop chewing up the furniture. But – when it all boils down to it is best to admit to ourselves that we should try to be happy anyway.  Obstacles will always be a part of life; and there is no way of getting around it.

I love the photo above with the balloons, it is from July 4th, 1983.  My son is frolicking in the backyard of a my good friend Kathy P. standing by is another girlfriend Heidi G (pregnant) and her daughter who is now (30) with my son who is also (30).  My photographs are the gems of my life.

So today is actually National Cousins Day and National Tequilla Day – hence I choose to write about another topic instead of the Weekly Photo Challenge.
