My enthusiastic hairdresser – my secret weapon

I am really lucky to have a great Hairdresser that I also can call my friend. Her name is Wendy and she is passionate and very glamorous each and every day. She keeps up on the technical knowledge of the industry and shares with me the latest in tips and trends which is vital for me to know. She also is very much a realist; she is able to cope with problems and stress with an unexpected strength.  Wendy is hard-working and generally enjoys her job, and thinks of her clients as friends. She is part psychologist; part camp counselor and knows more about her clients marriages and skills sets that anyone else.

photo_3Wendy keeps secrets, she tells you the good and the bad; and is loyal to a fault.  Having a my hair cut is like visiting an old friend but better, we catch up on each other families and share the latest dog stories. We compare diets – we share vacation pictures, and even discuss what we thought about the 85th Academy Awards.  Basically my Hairdresser is my weapon against aging and wining the war with the gray.

Thank you Wendy Jones, for being so nice to me and all of your Clients at Salon Lujon in Fullerton, California.

Lori, nice reading about your friend who is your hairdreser. I enjoyed reading about
your relationship with Wendy. A true friend.

I’ve been going to the same stylist for over 30 years and fear the day he decides to sell the shop and retire. I’ve always thought of Jim as my personal therapist, confidante, and magician… and I don’t know how I will survive without his talented scissor hands and words of wisdom. I know I will never have another 30-year run with anyone else.
