SALLY FIELD – America’s Sweetheart

Sally Field was born in Pasadena, California and she is the original California Girl. I grew up watching her on television as Gidget in 1965  and then the Flying Nun in 1967. I so enjoyed those weekly sit coms and I knew they were silly, but also so much fun to watch.

In the years following Sally starred in many films and TV movies. One of my favorite movies was Norma Rae in 1979 and also Forrest Gump in 1994. Tonight I will be rooting for her during the Oscars – she is by far my favorite actress in the running.  Sally Field has three things that is by far… most important:

  • longevity
  • inspirational
  • comedic ability
