Daily Prompt: Musical – I would sing to my dog (Broadway Showtunes)

We are preparing for a new fur family member to join our family very soon.  We lost our beloved Touchdown Leilani last September after 10 years, and we are ready to move on with a new dog.IMG_0196

I would sing to Touchdown almost everyday while getting ready for work; and she loved it. I always sang Broadway show-tunes such as Oklahoma, or a Chorus Line, and she seemed to go along with the tempo.  Besides she was a huge fan of DWTS on ABC-TV and would dance along side with me on Monday nights.

My husband and I are now getting ready for a new baby, a male Bernese Mountain Dog.  It is like starting all over again, and baby proofing the house and making sure we have everything we need for the new Puppy. We are filled with anticipation and excitement beyond belief.

So – wish us luck – house training and such, if you have any good suggestions for the first few weeks at home, drop me a line in comments.  We pick up the puppy at 8 weeks old in Northern California and go from there.  For me – its been at least 25 years -since we’ve had a new puppy at home.
