Summer Etiquette – a few reminders

Summer is here, and just because you can do it doesn’t mean you should….so here are a few summer etiquette reminders and helpful hints to get you through the hot summer days.

  • Just because you can expose your toes doesn’t mean you should.  Flip-flops, sandals, and bare feet are fun but don’t forget to visit your salon and get your pedicure before you go bare.

  • Love to barbecue, great — invite a few friends over to use the pool or jacuzzi.  Don’t forget to have your friends bring their own beach towels.  Nothing is more irritating than running out of towels and friends dripping through the house to use the loo.
  • Avoid bringing glass bottles around the pool, one slip and fall and you’ll be draining the pool to remove the broken glass beer bottles.
  • Just because your vacation includes a cool trip to your Uncle’s beach house, or his awesome boat. Don’t brag about it at work – some people never get to go away from the city.  But if you feel inclined – go ahead and invite your friends to come with you. Just make sure to share the Rules of the house before you get started. Image
