This photograph was taken about 5 years ago, and it still makes me chuckle. The day was Thanksgiving and we were trying to place everyone is a chair or bar stool so that they would be seen and not hidden behind another family member. The bottom row far left chair was purposely left empty for my brother Drew, he was the person setting up the tripod and the timer on the camera. Well, best laid plans….right? My dog, Touchdown Leilani jumped up into Drew’s chair and sat up straight actually posing for the picture. Its funny now to look back at the these shots, and I wanted to share with you all. Drew is seen in the back row, on the far left side, not smiling. Also my oldest son was not present, and some of us have closed eyes, but I love the photo – due to my Dog sitting up so straight. Posed shots can be fun and effective but one thing I love to do is capture the personality of the family members.
