Fashion Accessories – defined


Accessories – Noun:  A thing that can be added to something else in order to make it more useful, versatile, or attractive.

or –

A small article or item of clothing carried or worn to compliment a garment or outfit.

Today Women have many accessories already in our closets and our homes, such as scarves, handkerchiefs, bracelets and rings. Such decorative items including hats, purses, belts, watches, glasses, pins and jewelry add color and style to any outfit.  It also helps us create our own personal look, but our accessories can serve a functional purpose. Such as gloves protecting our hands from the cold winter weather.  Some of us have our favorite accessory such as SHOES or purses. Or a compulsion to keep buying more and more watches to add to the collection.

 

 

Many well-known celebrities have a distinctive look due to their accessories.  Such as Diane Keaton, film actress and screenwriter taking on the eccentric wardrobe in Annie Hall, which consisted mainly of vintage men’s clothing, including neckties, vests, baggy pants, and fedora hats.  This look made Diane Keaton a fashion icon in the late 1970’s.  Soon after the film’s release, the attire became popular for women.  Diane Keaton is known for wearing gloves and conservative attire in public even in warm weather of California.

Another beautiful actress is Goldie Hawn at age 65 is very young looking. Her look is always layered tank tops, boots, jeans and several bracelets and rings.  Goldie is always looking great, and how many 65 year old women have the fashion sense with accessories.

 Accessories add and make the outfit, it can also stretch to make two outfits that are very similar in looks to be completely different from each other.

    I have to admit that I am negligent in doing the wole look as it makes a big difference in
    the total affect that one is looking for. Goldie Hawn has the look and she is in her
    sixties so you don’t have to think that this overall look is for the young. As she
    proves it by her attire.
