Circles of Life

My Mom always had her sisters close by her side, they always stood together in photographs. They were close, and so enjoyed one another….they were on the phone for hours at a time.

This is one of my favorite photos of my Mom with Aunt Julie and Aunt Mary – taken on Christmas Day 1979 in West Covina, California at Uncle Jack and Aunt Julie’s home.

All three of them have on their lipstick and they are standing in birth order.  My Mom is on the far right side. Don’t they look so lovely….

My Mom is wearing a gold necklace with her initial “C” for Catherine around her neck. In those days technology may not have been so advanced yet, so no bluetooth for my Mom, just a simple necklace.
